University of Bristol, Capital Projects, is delighted to announce that the Grade II and Grade II* refurbishment of 8‐10 Berkeley Square has achieved a rating of ‘Excellent’ under the BREEAM UK environmental performance standard.
This is particularly satisfying as “Excellent” is a rating often beyond the reach of refurbishment projects. Even more impressive when achieved for a historical building refurbishment that had numerous conservation restrictions and limitations.
After being shortlisted at the BREEAM 2016 awards for the project’s environmental performance at the design stage, there was a real determination from the design, construction, managing and client team to achieve “Excellent at the post-construction review and included an “Innovation Credit”.
