Annual Conference 2024: Data-Driven Design

Data-driven design

This year’s conference, will be held at the University of Glasgow on the 4 and 5 of June, and will consider, within the overarching theme of Data-driven Design, how AI, data and technology are influencing and changing sustainable university design.

The conference will be held in the historic 19th century Bute Hall at the University of Glasgow, and moved into the 21st century with building visits to four of the university’s most recent buildings on the new Western Infirmary Campus, the James McCune Learning Hub, the Advanced Research Centre, the Clarice Pears Building and the Adam Smith Business School and PGT Hub.

The conference includes a networking drinks and dinner in the Bute Hall, with a talk by Phil Bernstein, architect, technologist, Associate Dean and Professor Adjunt at the Yale School of Architecture, and author of the book ‘Machine Learning – Architecture in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’.
