Student Accommodation – challenging the norm, entering phase 2
In the first phase of our research into student residences, we posed the provocative statement: ‘the vast majority of purpose-built student accommodation is the same’. Following last year’s successful session at AUDE and the subsequent publication of Student Accommodation: Challenging the Norm, UDF are now embarking on the next phase of research and are inviting accommodation providers to take part. Participants will be interviewed to get an insight into a number of key areas, including:
- What sort of accommodation do you offer and where do you see opportunities for increased variety?
- What will PBSA look like in 10, 20 or 30 years?
- How do we bring about change?
Interviews will take place in May and every contributor will have the opportunity to have their involvement publicised in the resulting research paper. If you are interested in contributing to this research, contact admin@universitydesignforum.org now!
